This seminar, for Young Engineers, is held at the EU and the European Commission and gives an overview of the workings of the European Institutions and of the European Parliament, Council, Commission etc.
This is an annual event, organised by Eurel (the umbrella organization for engineering societies in Europe, see www.eurel.org) and is offered to all Young Engineers of the EUREL Member Societies.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet EU Commission Officials responsible for various areas relating to Engineering. There will also be presentations on the political procedures in the Union and a visit to the European Parliament is also foreseen. The programme should be finalised in august, at which point it will be forwarded on to anyone who attend at the Seminar.
Younger Members who have attended in the past have found the event really useful, and it is also an opportunity to meet Young Engineers from other countries.
