The VDE Institute and the Canadian certification and testing organization CSA International signed an agreement for the extension of the common testing and certification services. The long standing cooperation will be intensified with this agreement in order to offer attractive product testing to the customers for the desired target export country. Thus the VDE Institute tests according to standards for the North American market. In return CSA International tests products for the European market, which come from North America or Asia according to European and VDE standards. „We are very glad that we can further extend the long standing relationship by signing the agreement. It provides our customers with an easy access to the North American market and gives them the certainty through the testing at the VDE Institute to have complied with all required standards prior to market entry”, says Wilfried Jäger, Managing Director of the VDE Institute.
