Chemical Product Analysis

REACH

Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances, Article 33, SVHC list

Requirement

Regulation 1907/2006/EC “REACH”, Article 33 “Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances”

Since October 28, 2008 suppliers of articles which contain SVHC in a concentration above 0.1 % (w/w) must provide sufficient information, available to their customer within 45 days of the receipt of this request.
This information must ensure safe use of the article and, as a minimum, include the name of the substance

The SVHC list is maintained by the EU.

Our service

  • Testing for the substances of the candidate list on the product level above 0.1 % (w/w)
  • We offer you a detailed test report.

Your advantage

  • The information becomes available in a very short time because the testing of the product is performed without additional information such as product specific documentation or information from the supplier.
  • You receive the data from an independent institution (VDE Testing and Certification Institute)

Outlook 2011

Starting from 2011 suppliers of articles which contain SVHC in a concentration above 0.1 % (w/w) and that exceed a production volume of 1 t/a per company are obliged to inform the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).
