We empirically examine the interaction between user and product with the VDE Usability Tests. The VDE usability laboratory is equipped with a digital video system and allows detailed research of user behavior concerning attentiveness, visual reception as well as positioning and motion examinations. Highly sophisticated questionnaires also help to record and analyze the user feedback. Our laboratory is equipped with everything that is necessary to examine the complete scope of electrotechnical products concerning their usability in the typical application environment:

In the neighboring visitors lounge you can comfortably observe the ongoing tests directly or on the wide screen without interrupting them and at the same time discuss the project status with our experts. Our portable video system enables us to record and carry out usability tests outside the laboratory, for example, in the actual work environment.
