Politics request and support measures for energy efficiency. Energy efficiency is an important purchase criterion for the consumer. The VDE Institute has a range of extensive equipment for the metrological determination of data concerning energy efficiency. We are ready to perform specific measurements for you.

The Blue Angel for especially environmentally compatible products like appliances of information technology and consumer electronic. Criteria: energy efficiency, prevention of harmful substances, emission and waste. |

Euroflower Eco Label for products with low environmental effect over their life time cycle according to comparable products. E.g. computers, laptops, televisions, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners and light bulbs. |

Energy Star of the Environmental Protection Agency of the USA (EPA) for energy efficient office machines. The EU is participating in this programm by an agreement. For certification these products have to comply with minimum requirements for power consumption. |
We also accompany the assessment of products in industrial operations such as drives, motors and inverters with our technical know-how. The measurement for energy efficiency is also part of the tests for the VDE quality label „VDE Quality tested“.
