Beginn: 12.06.2019 13:00 Uhr
Ende: 12.06.2019 16:30 Uhr

Haus am Dom
Domplatz 3

The ageing population brings many challenges regarding quality of life for older people and their carers. To overcome many of these problems, the development of active assisted living technologies (AAL) have gained pace in Europe and beyond. Solutions towards home monitoring or fall detection have been developed and brought into market in order to guarantee a better and longer life at home.

This VDE|DKE-conference will discuss the current development of AAL technologies in Europe and identify how AAL technologies are put into practice. What are the requirements and expectations of older people towards AAL technologies and how can innovative solutions be financed? What can we learn from other countries? Is AAL differently promoted in German than in the Netherlands or Austria?
