VDE, one of the largest technology organizations in Europe, has stood for knowledge, progress and safety for 125 years. Its main topics range from the energy transition to Industry 4.0, Digital Technologies, Future Mobility and Smart Living to Digital Security. 2,000 employees, more than 100,000 volunteer experts and nearly 1,500 companies are shaping a future worth living in the VDE.

The national VDE network of 29 district associations, 8 state representations and over 60 university groups ensures short distances, proximity to members and offers important contacts for the professional future, ideal platforms for companies, universities and students as well as competence centers for politics. The international network of the VDE now spans several continents from Europe to Asia and America.
