Why become a member of DGBMT?

Counting currently more than 2,500 members, the DGBMT is the largest scientific and technical society in medical engineering in Germany. In 2011 the DGBMT has been celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The DGBMT promotes the development of medical technology in Germany in a non-profit way. This work, which is important for Germany in terms of beeing a site of biomedical engineering, can only be achieved if professionals from all fields of medical technology are actively and voluntarily engaged and become members of the DGBMT. The well-known principle applies: "Together we are strong".

You will become a DGBMT member by requesting a VDE membership. While completing the application form for the VDE membership please assign yourself to the DGBMT. Membership is free of charge in the year of entry.
Terminating your VDE membership must be communicated in writingat least 3 months prior to the end of the year.
