VDE Institute and VDE Renewables at the EUW 2017
The VDE Institute and VDE Renewables were represented at this year's European Utility Week (EUW) in Amsterdam with a booth and several experts. From 3rd to 5th October, visitors were able to inform themselves on renewable energy, energy storage, smart home and cyber security.
The expansion of renewable energies is a central pillar of energy transition. Not only in Germany, but also worldwide the electricity supply becomes "greener" each year. In addition to the further development of wind parks and solar and photovoltaic modules, intelligent energy storage solutions also have to be developed. The fluctuating availability of electricity from the new energy carriers is offset by storage, so that the supply is ensured and renewable energy can be integrated into the overall system. Smart technology comes into play for this integration. They can offer their support when analyzing when and how much electricity is needed.
The VDE Institute and its wholly-owned subsidiary VDE Renewables are trustworthy quality partners in the field of renewable energies and intelligent life. Our services include technical certification services (e.g. PV modules and components, batteries and energy storage systems) and value-added services (e.g. VDE certification for bankability, technical due diligence and information security).
