This agreement will enable Chinese power tool and garden equipment manufacturers to demonstrate the quality of their products, and thereby give them the ability to better market their products on the European market. Conversely, this collaboration now gives European manufacturers a secure and quick method for having their products certified for the Chinese market.
The VDE is represented by its own office on-site. Tests are conducted by SETRI in an independent laboratory under the supervision of VDE experts. The primary goals include tests for CCC certification for the Chinese market along with CE tests and tests for obtaining a VDE mark for the European market.
Consistent quality through German certification
To ensure consistent quality in the test results, the test reports and the certification are reviewed at the independent VDE Testing and Certification Institute GmbH in Offenbach.
