Explosion-proof electrical products require CCC approval for China

1. As of 10/1/2019, a manufacturer or importer that does not have a valid production permit for an explosion-proof product must apply for CCC approval.
2. From October 1, 2019 to October 1, 2020, a manufacturer or importer that possesses a valid production permit for explosion-proof products must apply to switch to the CCC certificate.

Affected products (examples):

• Explosion-proof motors
• Explosion-proof electrical pumps
• Explosion-proof air conditioning and ventilation systems
• Explosion-proof electrical distribution systems
• A total of 14 types of explosion-proof electrical products
