Ladies and Gentlemen,
as is known, cases of coronavirus lung disease have occurred in China since December 2019. We currently have no cases of illness in our teams in China. Nevertheless, the situation also affects us and our daily operations in China.
The locations in Mainland and Hong Kong are currently in the Chinese New Year holidays. The government has extended this vacation in some areas until February 10, 2020. This means that our locations will remain closed until further notice. Due to this situation, downtimes and reaction delays can occur, we ask for your understanding.
Our location in Hong Kong is excluded from the situation; the employees have been working there since January 29 from the home office for you (starting 02.02. also from the office again).
With regard to the health hazard potential for every traveller, a travel ban for the People's Republic of China applies to all employees from now on and until revocation. Conversely, this also applies to our colleagues from China, who will not travel to other countries for the time being, unless they have not been in China for more than 4 weeks or have undergone a health examination.Despite the restrictions, we are at your disposal and will try to process your inquiries as soon as possible.
