The requirements of EN45554 regarding the repairability assessment criteria (for example: qualification of personnel, availability of tools etc.) will be explained. Regarding recyclability the product evaluation of compatibility against existing recycling processes as well as the application of different recycling scenarios will be demonstrated. Examples for expansion into second product life will be given.
