This online seminar deals with testing and certification options for Socket-outlets based on different national differences.

There are about 15 different domestic electrical plug and socket types used worldwide, defined from Type A to Type O. They vary by shape, number of pins, grounding style, voltage (100V–240V), and frequency (50Hz–60Hz) because national developed individual systems before international coordination existed.

Modular Testing and Certification of Cables
