The German IT Security Act 2.0 (IT-SiG 2.0), which came into force at the end of May this year, has been long awaited. The Act continues the regulatory tradition on cybersecurity started with the first IT Security Act from 2015 and not only expands the scope of the regulations, but also significantly tightens existing requirements. Accordingly, many of the innovations that are now coming were already controversially discussed during the legislative process. These include, for example, the so-called "companies in the special public interest" and suppliers, the "hacker authority" of the German Federal Information Security Office BSI, the new regulation of the use of critical components and the voluntary IT security label. The webinar from Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker summarizes the new - also internationally relevant - legal requirements for companies in a concise manner, provides practical advice and subjects the IT-SiG 2.0 and its implementation to a critical assessment by experts.
Our VDE expert Alexander Matheus would also like to show a few practical examples of tests and certifications so that you can get a brief overview of services from our test laboratory.
We look forward to your participation in our free online seminar.
