He is currently the Technical Director of VDE Renewables, a globally active subsidiary of the VDE Association which provides quality assurance, risk mitigation and international certification for renewable energy products and systems.
Together with Katja Münzer and Ansgar Hinz, he forms part of the Management Board of VDE Renewables GmbH.
Previously, he was the Technical Manager of Division Energies and Power Electronics at the VDE Testing and Certification Institute in Germany.
Mr. Roth is a Member of the IEC technical committee TC 82, Working group 2, PV-Modules, and also a Member of the German committee K373 PV-Systems and AK 373.0.10 PV-Modules.
