The roadshow is being held to complement the G20 Summit, which will be held in Bali, Indonesia on the 13th to 14th of November 2022, and the main objective is to unite the G20 business communities under one roof to work towards inclusive, resilient, and sustainable global economic growth. With an average of 1000 delegates from member countries, including top executives from leading multinational companies, the B20 (the business arm of G20) includes approximately 2000 participants representing more than 6,5 million companies. KADIN Indonesia, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will become the B20 host organization.
VDE, as a leading technology organization, has been known to the Indonesian government for many years through VDE Renewables. In the contributions of the Frankfurt event, the expertise of VDE in RE and the initiatives with banks and insurance companies were particularly appreciated. The Indonesian government is currently visiting key partner countries and participants of the G20, which includes Germany. The KADIN expressed interest in VDE to participate in business development for renewable energy. It has also invited Mr. Burkhard Holder, CEO of VDE Renewables to present at the G20 Summit.
In the coming weeks, the KFW, DEG and IPEX hope to identify opportunities in Indonesia with VDE. VDE Renewables will offer its services to facilitate investment between Germany and Indonesia.
