The solar modules come from the Swiss company Meyer Burger and were manufactured entirely in Germany. The project was implemented by the regional energy company badenova. VDE Renewables provides advisory services to badenova on the quality assurance of renewable energy power plants and inspected and evaluated the solar power plant of SC Freiburg.
Quality and performance independently verified and certified
VDE Renewables experts examine, for example, whether the plant has been optimally planned, how reliably it operates and whether the modules also deliver the promised output. This guarantees that a solar power plant of this size can also be operated successfully in economic terms and that the investment pays off in the end. VDE Renewables Managing Director Burkhard Holder: "This project meets our stringent requirements, and this power plant was awarded the VDE certificate as confirmation that SC Freiburg and badenova have not compromised on quality and execution." As a subsidiary of the VDE Group, VDE Renewables can draw on more than 125 years of experience with norms and standards as well as testing and certification. In addition, VDE Renewables has an international partner network that includes leading scientific research institutes and insurance groups.
