Description

This is the 21st virtual regulars' table with Next Generation DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic, and Information Technologies) – and the first international regular’s table with NSAI Young Professionals Network (National Standards Authority of Ireland)

Topic: Artificial Intelligence and International Collaboration - an Unmissable Evening!

Imagine someone inviting you to an event where …

  • you could delve into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence and
  • connect with international colleagues in the realm of standardization!

Sounds intriguing? Keep on reading!

"Artificial intelligence refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and learn." (AI Alliance, 2023).

Alright – but what does that entail? This is one of the questions we aim to explore on January 30, 2024, with our special guest speaker Aditya Mohan, who is a Senior Scientific Officer at the National Standards Authority of Ireland where he manages the National Standards Committee of AI experts to ISO and CEN.

We are not only ushering in the new year but also hosting the first international regulars' table together with NSAI.

Together with our guest speaker, we will explore the various facets of artificial intelligence and standards as catalysts for business growth. Adherence to standards is often perceived as costly and burdensome by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, an alternative perspective exists. Together, we aim to shed light on the benefits of these standards and understand their role as drivers for business growth. In this context, you will, among others, learn about the intricacies behind the terms: TRL Improvement, Commercial Readiness and Compatibility with Market Platforms.

We invite you to an engaging and informal evening where you can gain new perspectives and network with young professionals from Next Generation DKE and NSAI Young Professionals Network. Remember – artificial intelligence is a challenge that transcends borders.
