Dear business partners, visitors and participants (m/f/d),
Safety, security, and sustainability are firmly anchored in the VDE Group. In this respect we would like to inform you regularly about the latest developments in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Within the VDE Group we are still not aware of any case of illness worldwide. The entire VDE Group follows the successful recommendations and guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the health authorities and takes all necessary precautions to protect the health of our employees, visitors, participants and business partners.
We inform our employees regularly about the latest developments. Our employees are instructed to always follow the current recommendations of the health authorities.
For the VDE Group, "mobile working" has been implemented in many areas, all hygiene measures are constantly monitored and extended if necessary. Infection protection and hygiene measures are a central focus, i.e. increased attention is paid to them everywhere, and especially where contact is necessary, for example in certain working environments.
Both for your protection and for the protection of our employees, business partners, members and participants, the necessity of participating in external appointments is carefully screened and travel is kept to a minimum.
The current decisions of the German government provide for a ban on major events until at least the end of December. The events of the VDE Group will therefore be partially cancelled. However, the majority of our events will be postponed or will take place virtually: In order to meet your wishes and needs, we are developping innovative formats that allow both virtual and hybrid participation. For further information, please see the respective event announcement.
Regarding our committee and technical committee meetings, it still applies that these are primarily held virtually or via web conference. Any exceptions will be implemented under all valid protective and security measures.
Please note that a mouth and nose cover must be worn in all VDE Frankfurt and Offenbach buildings. This obligation does not apply at your own desk or at your place in the meeting room if a distance of at least 1.5 meters can be maintained.
If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, please contact our VDE Task Force CORONA at email@example.com.
We thank you for your trust and support. Stay healthy!
