VDE covers a wide range of topics and issues—from future technologies and societal developments to standardization and safety. Six key topics were selected for this year's highlight clips, which bring together some of our most important achievements and activities of the year. The topics are AI & Digital Trust, Energy, Health, Mobility, Next Generation, and Standardization.

The VDE recognizes scientific commitment with a variety of prizes and awards. These honor both the innovative contributions of young students and doctoral candidates and the outstanding achievements of established scientists.
