Mobility reimagined: Electric mobility in a systemic context

When we talk about mobility today, the first thing that comes to mind for many people is electric mobility. But a look at the practicalities shows that there is much more to it than just the vehicle itself. At VDE, we view mobility as an integral part of a connected energy system. Issues such as grid stability, charging infrastructure, battery technology, and bidirectional charging are closely interlinked - and require dialogue between experts from the energy, mobility, semiconductor, and research sectors. This year's VDE E-MOBILITY CONFERENCE impressively demonstrated how important this interdisciplinary exchange is.
