Description

After a pause of four years due to the global COVID pandemic it is our great pleasure to invite you to the next round of our bilateral U.S.-German Standards Panel.  In order to enable a broad participation, the Panel will allow for physical participation and virtual participation for some sessions.

At the Standards Panel, beginning on 4 April 2023 between 09 am - 17 pm, we will take a closer look at current standardization strategies in the US and Europe as well as on how digitalization will affect the standardization work in standards committees and the future format and use of standards deliverables.

In the afternoon sessions, we will then deep-dive into discussions on

- Artificial Intelligence

- Climate Change

Those afternoon discussions will be held physically in order to allow for an active exchange among the participants.

The results of these sessions will then be exchanged and summarized in a face-to-face session of the Standards Panel on the following day, 5 April 2023 between 09 - 12 am.
