30th International Conference on Optical Network Design and Modelling

The 30th International Conference on Optical Network Design and Modelling (ONDM 2026) will be organized by the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (Germany) from May 12 to May 15, 2026.

ONDM conferences are a reference in the field of optical networking, providing a valuable opportunity for the presentation of cutting-edge research in established areas of optical networking and their adoption in support of a wide variety of new services and applications. This includes recent trends in the field, including, but not limited to, multi-X flexible optical networks, fiber sensing, AI/ML-based network operation, quantum-secured networks, next-generation access networks, and optical wireless networks.

As with previous ONDM conferences, the forthcoming ONDM 2026 will include workshops, keynotes, tutorials, and invited talks, as well as high-quality contributed talks and posters. The conference will be primarily single-track and will encourage active participation during both the technical sessions and the social events.

The 2026 edition of ONDM provides an excellent opportunity for the dissemination of the latest academic and industrial research in the field of optical networking.
