Cable management
We will be presenting a general overview of the topic of cable routing systems. Which products fall under cable routing systems and what product standards are there?
Whether pipe systems, duct systems, cable support systems, busbar systems, cable ties, or cable holders, there is a suitable system for every application. The VDE provides support in researching standards, conducts tests during development, and helps maintain product quality.
Lighting
The main topics at our booth this year are light pollution, plant lighting, P³ service, HCL, and sustainability (life cycle assessment for luminaires).
In the area of light pollution, we will be presenting our new cooperation with DarkSky International and our newly developed DarkSky Application Service. We will also be informing visitors about our new certification for LED modules for horticultural lighting.
Cybersecurity
With the CRA and the requirements of the RED EU 2014/53 Radio Equipment Directive (specifically Art. 3.3 d-f), more and more manufacturers of networked devices are required to comply with cybersecurity and data security requirements. At Light + Building, our experts will be on hand to provide information about the new requirements and answer questions. We will also show you how the VDE can help you comply with the requirements.
Components and installation products
Visitors to the trade fair will also gain further insight into our range of services in the field of installation products. New additions include the highly efficient test system for performing service life tests on switch contacts and our range of services for testing national deviations and testing sockets in accordance with BS (British Standard).
