Vice President

Alf Henryk Wulf was born in 1962. After studying electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, he began his professional career at Alcatel SEL AG in 1991, where he was appointed a member of the Management Board in 2003 and became Chairman of the Management Board in 2009. In 2012, he was appointed to Alstom Deutschland AG (2012 - 2015) and later to GE Power AG (2015 - 2018), in each case as Chairman of the Management Board. Since 2007, Mr. Wulf has been a member of the supervisory and advisory boards of various companies in the IT, telecommunica-tions, software, electrical engineering, energy and raw materials sectors. As an investor, he has co-founded several companies and supports them as a business angel. He also headed the hi-tech net-work BWCon in Baden Württemberg and is a member of the advisory board of the Goethe Society in Weimar. Mr. Wulf has been Deputy President of the VDE since 2026.
