The CIGRE Biennial Session is held in Paris, France in even number years. It is the number one global power system event in the world, bringing together some 8600 power industry participants from over 120 countries, including 3600 international experts and other decision-makers. This is a unique week long interactive opportunity. Over 160 working meetings, over 30 Study Committee sessions and around 800 papers focus on and discuss the association’s 16 fields of activities.

Deadlines for Abstracts:
- Submission deadline for abstracts (EDAS): July 7, 2025
- Correction period for authors & submission of final abstracts to the National Committee: August 15, 2025
- Submission of contributions to Paris by the National Committee: August 25, 2025
- Feedback from Paris to the authors: October 20, 2025
Deadlines for Full Papers:
- Submission of full papers (EDAS) to the National Committee: January 12, 2026
- Submission of revised contributions by the National Committee to Paris: February 2, 2026
- Correction & submission of the revised version of full papers to Paris by authors: April 10/20, 2026
- Notification of full paper acceptance: May 11, 2026
SYNOPSES FORMAT
- These instructions and the attached template give you guidelines to prepare your synopsis.
- Please strictly follow these instructions and provide us with the necessary information we need to consider your Paper Proposal.
- Study Committee and Preferential Subject addressed are mandatory to direct your synopsis to the right experts for reviewing.
- Your email address is highly needed to keep you informed about the selection results.
- Synopses format is standardised and must be A4 size, one column and line spacing 1.15. Font should be Times New Roman.
- Synopses should be in English and unpublished material with strictly scientific or technical contents.
- No advertising or commercial names are allowed in the text.
- A length of 500 words minimum and two pages is a good option to facilitate reviewing and selection.
- Papers must be authored by at least two contributors.
- A few keywords in alphabetical order, separated by commas may serve as an introduction.
