The EU AI Act is reshaping the regulatory landscape for artificial intelligence across Europe - bringing new obligations, risks, and opportunities for AI system providers.

This VDE online seminar provides a practical, end-to-end overview of the EU AI Act, covering its key principles, scope, definitions, timelines, and latest developments. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the regulatory framework, relevant authorities, and the role of harmonized standards and guidelines.

A central focus is placed on high-risk AI systems, including classification, responsibilities along the AI value chain, and specific obligations for providers and deployers. The seminar also addresses general-purpose AI models and systems, including emerging applications such as agentic AI.

In a dedicated deep dive, participants will explore the core regulatory requirements for high-risk AI systems, with a specific focus on establishing and maintaining robust risk management and quality management systems - key building blocks for achieving compliance.

The event format offers sufficient time for your questions and discussions. The theoretical basics will be supplemented by practical examples from the professional experience of the VDE experts. This event is designed specifically for co-workers of AI providers seeking clear, actionable guidance on implementing EU AI Act requirements.
