Network Code on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC)

The Network Code describes the grid connection regulations for high-voltage direct-current transmission systems (HVDC) and non-synchronous power plants with direct-current connection. The regulations describe, among others, the connection between various synchronous areas and the grid connection of renewable energy systems by means of direct current, for instance, from offshore wind farms.
